These "in-between" maintenance companies charge a steep, non-refundable upfront fee, often £199 to £250 plus VAT, just to dispatch an electrician. You then have to pay the electrician's hourly rate on top of that booking fee.

For all emergency service calls, our labour is charged as follows:
- Standard Hours (Mon-Fri, 8 am – 4 pm): £75
- Emergency Hours (7 Days, 4 pm – 8 am): £100
There is a minimum charge equivalent to the first hour. Labour is then charged in half-hour segments thereafter. The clock starts when we leave our base. We are proud to confirm that we do not charge a separate call-out fee or VAT on our labour.
